Service Rates, Policies and Refunds

Upfront Pricing. No Surprises.

Every trip is quoted individually based on pickup location, destination, distance, scheduling requirements, and other trip-specific factors.

Because every trip is different, pricing is provided by quote rather than through fixed online rates.

 

Service Availability

Transportation is available throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area and many surrounding communities. Long-distance transportation may also be available throughout Kansas, Missouri, and neighboring states. Because service availability varies by location, all trips are subject to review and approval before a quote is issued.

 

Out-of-Area Transportation Rates

Transportation originating outside the Kansas City metropolitan area is subject to additional charges due to driver travel time and vehicle positioning requirements. Primary cities served are those south of Olathe where there is limited or no other rideshare of taxi options. This includes Paola, Spring Hill, Baldwin City, Ottawa, Osawatomie, Fontana, etc.

 

Standard Pricing

  • $15.00 for the first 4 miles

  • $3.30 per mile thereafter

 

Minimum Charges

Out-of-area trips are subject to a minimum charge of $100–$150 or $3.30 per mile, whichever is greater. Minimum charges vary based on pickup location, destination, scheduling requirements, and driver travel time.

 

Remote Local Trips

Trips within smaller communities outside the Kansas City metro area may not be cost-effective due to the travel time required for the driver to reach the pickup location.

 

Examples include:

  • Paola to Paola

  • Paola to Spring Hill

  • Similar trips within rural or outlying communities

 

These trips are generally subject to the same minimum charge requirements listed above.

How to Request a Quote

  1. Complete the online Quote Request Form.

  2. Provide accurate pickup and destination information.

  3. Include the date and time of your trip.

  4. Submit the form.

 

A personalized quote will be emailed to the address provided on the form.Submission of a quote request does not create a reservation and does not guarantee service. These quotes are good for 48 hours from when they are sent. After 48 hours, the quote will self-delete as we book passengers on a first-come, first-served basis.

Booking Process

  1. Submit a Quote Request Form.

  2. Gregg will review your request.

  3. A personalized quote will be emailed to you.

  4. Payment is required to confirm and reserve your trip.

 

Payment Policy

  • All trips must be prepaid. No "pay upon arrival" is accepted.

  • Reservations are not guaranteed until payment has been been received.

  • Unpaid quotes are automatically canceled after 48 hours.

  • A new quote may be required if trip details change after a quote has been issued.

 

Stops & Wait Time

Quotes are based on direct transportation from the pickup location to the final destination.

 

Additional Stops

Additional stops requested during a trip may result in additional charges. Each additional stop is generally treated as a separate trip segment and may increase the total fare.

 

Wait Time

When a passenger requests that the driver remain on-site during errands, appointments, shopping trips, or similar activities, wait time is billed at $1.00 per minute. Wait time charges begin once the vehicle arrives at the stop and continue until travel resumes.

Customers anticipating extended stops are encouraged to discuss their itinerary when requesting a quote so accurate pricing can be provided in advance.

 

Refund & Cancellation Policy

 

Standard Cancellations

Reservations canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time are not eligible for a refund. A travel credit will be issued for future transportation services.

 

Advance Cancellations

Reservations canceled more than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time are eligible for a 75% refund to the original payment method. The remaining 25% is retained to compensate for reserved scheduling time.

Reservations canceled within 24 hours of payment and more than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time are eligible for a full refund.

 

Airport Reservations

No refunds will be provided if a driver has been dispatched to the airport and the passenger is not on the scheduled flight, has missed the flight, changed flights, canceled travel plans, or otherwise fails to notify Gregg of a change in travel arrangements.

I monitor flight arrivals and delays, so updates are generally not necessary. However, if your travel plans change, you miss your flight, are rebooked onto a different flight, or cancel your trip, you must notify me as soon as possible to avoid scheduling conflicts.

 

Inclement Weather

Every reasonable effort will be made to provide transportation during adverse weather conditions. If a customer elects to use alternative transportation after prepaying for a reservation, at least 24 hours notice must be provided. In such cases, a travel credit will be issued for future use. Refunds will not be provided. Weather-related delays may impact pickup and arrival times. Every effort will be made to accommodate schedule changes when conditions permit.

 

No-Show Policy

Passengers are responsible for being ready at the scheduled pickup location at the agreed-upon time. Upon arrival, Gregg will make reasonable efforts to contact the passenger using the contact information provided at the time of booking.

If the passenger does not appear, respond, or make contact within 10 minutes of the scheduled pickup time, the trip will be considered a no-show and will be canceled. No refunds or travel credits will be issued for no-show reservations.

 

Special Event Transportation Policy – Arrowhead Stadium

Special event transportation to and from Arrowhead Stadium is available by advance reservation only.

 

Parking Requirements

A valid Red or Gold parking pass must be provided by the passenger before the event. If a parking pass is not provided, Gregg may purchase a parking pass, subject to availability. The cost of the parking pass will be added to the passenger's invoice.

 

What's Included

Special event pricing includes:

  • Transportation to Arrowhead Stadium

  • Pickup and drop-off within the stadium parking area

  • Wait time during the game

  • Return transportation to the original pickup location

 

Because taxis are not permitted to leave and re-enter the stadium parking areas during events, the driver remains on-site for the duration of the game.

 

Additional Stops

Additional stops requested before or after the event are billed at $25 per stop.

 

Cancellation Policy

Due to the limited availability of special event transportation and the requirement that the driver remain committed to the reservation for the duration of the event, all special event reservations are final. No refunds or travel credits will be issued for special event reservations under any circumstances.
